Mondra is a high-growth tech start-up that is delivering a cutting-edge food system environmental insights platform to accelerate the planet’s progress to NetZero carbon emissions. Following a successful Series A fundraising round, we are scaling up rapidly and preparing for significant growth in user numbers.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our SaaS platform with a focus on ESG metrics. This role emphasizes understanding and implementing regulations and methodologies for calculating ESG metrics, including life cycle assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving sustainable practices within our organization by leveraging LCA methodologies.

As the Product Manager, you will work closely with existing users and our science team to turn scientific guidance into a product proposition, ensuring we continue to develop our capability at scale.

As a Product Manager in this role, you will receive strong support and guidance from the Head of Product, ensuring you have the resources and mentorship needed to succeed.

You'll be empowered to make meaningful contributions while being coached by experienced leadership, making this a perfect stepping stone in your professional journey.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing new methodology ensuring it both adheres to LCA guidance and delivers value for users.
  • Understand changing regulatory landscape and the opportunities they present Mondra, translating these into actionable product requirements.
  • Use data and analytics to inform product decisions, validate assumptions, and guide the development team in prioritizing tasks.
  • Support maintenance of the product roadmap, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to prioritize features that deliver the most value.
  • Work with the design team and data analysts to support create wireframes and visual design concepts to ensure the platform is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure the product backlog is organised and prioritised based on feedback, data analysis, and evolving requirements.
  • Clearly define and communicate Epics, Features, and User Stories with well-articulated acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the science team and other stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to guide the team towards successful deliveries.


Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of LCA methodologies, standards, and regulations.
  • 2 years Product Management experience.
  • A strong grasp of the Agile principles with experience delivering to Kanban and Scrum.
  • The ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • The ability to understand, interpret and synthesise large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • The ability to understand technical information and concepts and translate them into business/operational-focussed information with the instinct to question things.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, able to plan for short to long term objectives.
  • Strong client facing skills.
  • Basic but solid understanding on Project/Delivery Management.
