Data Engineer/ Analyst

Mondra is a high-growth tech start-up that is delivering a food system environmental insights platform to accelerate the planet’s progress to NetZero carbon emissions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical pre-sales consultant with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team.

Responsible for actively driving and managing the presales process with direct and existing customers, the technical presales consultant must be able to articulate the company’s technology capabilities, positioning to both business and technical users to resolve customer requirements.

Primarily engaged in a presale’s and implementation activities, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with product and engineering teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and delivery teams on proposal activities through to implementation.


Responsibilities

- Attend meetings with existing and potential clients to determine technical and business requirements, ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.

- Perform technical review of seed data, technical implementation files and bespoke solutions as part of the client handover and validations process using Excel and PowerBI.

- Discover and qualify business alignment and technical fit between customer requirements and company services.

- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.

- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.

- Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders.

- Create internal configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations.

- Work with Product and Engineering to feedback on issues with current solutions and provide input around new solutions.

- Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.

- Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer and Mondra.

- Promote technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm.

- Provide accurate and timely management information, to include – status reports, contract progress reviews, timeline forecasts and KPI’s.

- Structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the business benefits to clients.

- Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sales to Delivery

- Ability to demonstrate Mondra technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge.

Skills

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (required to aid customer communication of data)

- Requirements gathering, design and solution building and the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting.

- 3+ years of commercial technical consulting experience within the SaaS industry

- 3+ years of commercial experience API system integrations

- Knowledge of Azure technical infrastructure (desirable)

- Highly proficient in business and data analytic approaches

- Fluent English (spoken and written).
